Car Parking

The idea behind this was to create a dedicated space for my son's cars. For this I used some thermocol sheets, colored paper, toothpicks, masking tape, fevicol, piece of cardboard (for ramp) , glue and some poster color.

Lentil Mosaic

This mosaic is made by my 6 year old son. For the flower petals he used Arhar/tur dal. For the green color of stem and leaves split Moong dal has been used. To make the soil whole Masoor dal has been used.

Clay pots

These I made very long time back. I simply painted the clay pots with black oil paint and then did nib painting.

Flower Pot

Made out of a takeaway box, this one is a nice addition on my kitchen window!! To make this you'll need:

1 box
Acrylic colors
Plastic flowers or any other decoration

First of all I made a hole at the bottom of the box to let the extra water out. Then painted it with acrylic colors. After that the decor was done. Once ready, I filled it with some stones at the bottom, topping it with soil. Then planted some curry leaves.

Pen Holder

An easy project to organize the pen/pencils/colors of your little ones. Guess what they can also help you to make it.For this you need:

5 Toilet tissue rolls
1 CD
1 Mask
Poster colors
1/2 sheet of thick paper
Glue

In this I have used CD as the base. So arrange the toilet tissue rolls in a sort of a semicircle. Stick them together with help of some glue. Stick the rolls onto the thick paper (cut into a circle, so as to fit on top of CD). Color the tissue rolls in a pattern of your choice. This is where your little ones can help. Once dry, stick the mask at the back. And its ready!!!
